^^^That is rather funny lol good old microsoft do it again! I have never used rdp just wanted to give it ago, have no intention of using it on my network
You can drop the relevant Pro DLL into the Windows System32 directory overwriting the Home version and it works great then![]()
I'm currently running windows 7 pro on my new media machine and i really want to use rdp to remote access it on my lan from my windows home premium machine but i know this cant be done straight out the box.
Think i will go for teamviewer then as it always seems highly regarded. I just thought there might be a way to somehow copy the server part of RDP from a Pro version of Windows to a Home Premium version and be able to fully utilize it but hey never mind![]()
