Removing a security tag

Surely just freeze the coat and cut the ink bit off as it'll be solidified? (dependent upon the ink composition)

Alternatively, hold it upside down, lots of masking tape and cling film on the coat fabric, and Dremel the ink portion, get it drained and then dismantle from that side?

*NB I've never seen how these are made, so could be a honeycomb and contain many ink storage vessels.

Won't work m8. Only 30 seconds in the microwave on full will fix it. While he's on, he could stick his iPhone in too and charge it.

You don't need to freeze it. The ink is on one side. Placing something thin between the two discs and it's easy tell which side. As one side is like an overall and the other a cap. Then you just need to but the cap away TI reveal the pin, then cut the pin.

It's pretty straight forward.

Good shout, the worst case would have been breaking the ink, 2nd worst...making that pin-hole bigger or damaging the zip.

Easy to take off if you know how and have the select tools, easier to make a mess of if you dont
 
I can just imagine it:

Misses: Oh damn, it's got a security tag on it! We'll have to take it back.
You: Nah it's alright dear, i've got this! *Readies teaspoon and wirecutters*
Misses: No... I really think we should take it back..
 
You can easily remove these tags with neodymium mangets.
I found that 3x5mm were enough.

Tempted to go into Tesco, remove all the tags into a bucket and hand it it into the front desk, saying that someone had stuck pins though all the clothes but not to worry, I'd done them a favour and removed them all myself.

Why? Is your life really that empty.

You'd probably also be arrested for going equipped at the very least, as soon as you start taking off the tags security would be on you like a shot.
 
there was a guy on benefits street that showed us how to do it while he was on the bus

i can't remember it though lol
