Removing magnetic tags?

Call them and send it back.

Come to think of it, why would a mail order item have a tag on anyway? Do they really trust their staff that little?

It was pretty weird, it came with a coat hanger and a plastic 'coat' over the top, the likes you would expect from a dry cleaner when going to pickup your suit jacket for example. So basically looks like its been lifted off the rack in a store...other than the plastic wrap. Will stick up a pic of the item in question later on, will also add the receipt to stop the theiving calls!

I bought my Ski helmet from Sports Direct a couple of months ago and they left the tag on. I was adament that they were damn near impossibly to get off with out the right equipment. My brother told me shut up, got a hammer and hit it 5 or 6 times and it came right off.

A++++ would recommend this method again!

Pair of tin snips. If you can't get to the pin, snip the top of the tag and remove casing, then snip the pin from there.

<snob>This is what you get for buying presents from sportsdirect</snob>

happened to me on a t-shirt i bought, hammer solved the problem.

Long as it's not a dye filled one, I've taken one off with two whacks of a claw hammer before, it's quite simple. Bloody Tesco :p

(Yes, I buy jeans in Tesco :()
