Hi, so I've tried everything I can think of to get this one last pesky screw out and they've jammed it in so tightly that I've ended up stripping it. Anyone got any ideas?

Seems like I've stripped the screwhead trying to get the last bugger out because they are unbelievably tight

With a vernier caliper measure the thread width of one of the screws you've already removed and select a HSS drill bit one size smaller and drill out the rounded screw.

I.e. if the thread width is 3.5mm, use a 3.2mm drill bit to drill out the rounded screw.

Top tip - use light pressure, slow rotation and don't slip with the drill!

I know it's not helpful now, but if a screw head is beginning to strip you're using the wrong size driver.

Have you tried the rubber band trick ? (Find a screwdriver that will fit as well as you can, put a rubber band between the screw head and screwdriver)

If that fails then you can (really careful with this) use a dremel to cut a slot in the head of the screwdriver.

Worth mentioning that a hand drill would be really difficult to use for this, best find a pedestal drill if you go this route
