Reno air show crash

I'm more sad for the plane. There's billions of humans, but only a handful of those planes left.

Yeah but I have a reason to go to the shops. I'm fine never seeing an air show when there seems to be a few (more as the years go on it seems) that go wrong almost every year since 1965

I could not even watch the whole one of the sukhoi crash it was that disturbing

Another one . Thankfully it appears no one was hurt.

A plane crashed an hour ago — the second air show in two days to experience a downed airplane. This time it was an air show in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Thankfully, at this point, no injuries in the crowd are being reported.

1 got sentenced to around 18 years and one got sentenced to around 8/9 years I think.

And this is why I will never attend an air show.

You know i've attended dozens, and guess what, nothing happened!

Silly reason for not attending one to be brutally honest.

I think it's more not your cup of tea than the very small chance something goes wrong.

Back to the topic, RIP the pilot.

He was clearly doing something he loves there

Indeed - you could just as easily have someone lose control of their car and end up in your living room or get hit by an out of control car whilst walking along the road.

Tragic it happens and nasty that civilians got injured, thoughts go out to the Pilots family and friends and the injured people

I was probably about 70 feet from the plane that went down five? years, was behind some trees having a few beers at the time

Didn't even hear it come down, thought my friends was joking around when they said it had crashed, turned the corner and a nasty smokecloud filled the sky, we got within feet to the plane as it had crashed a few minutes away from the airport so there was only a guy telling everyone to keep back. All we saw was the burning frame and I guess it was a good thing that we couldn't see the burning corpse of the pilot (I guess there wasn't a lot left of him tbh)

could have been worse as there was a lot of children running around.

If you get the 7:42 version on YT that's the graphic one. it's ok up until he gets to pilot pretty well after that it turns morbid so you can watch to that point to get some good angle shots of the crash itself.

Terrible accident.

But as previous comments, British Military are not allowed to perform above the crowd. Though for some reason they are allowed to do it above us when no civis are on base Though it makes for a great private air show!
