Replacement GH3 controllers?

Has anyone tried to get their GH3 controller replaced recently? The green fret on mine has bust but the Activision website seems to only have only replacement forms for World Tour. Their customer support line seems to leave me on hold for hours.

I guess they are getting a bit old, but I thought I'd try my luck!

Yep did mine recently.

Just enter the GH3 guitar serial key as a World Tour one. You'll get a World Tour replacement within four or five days.

Ta muchly guys. I've tried entering the serial inside the battery compartment but the site isn't taking it

I'm not looking at the wrong serial number am I?

Make sure that there are 12 digits after the letters as my mate was only entering the first 7/8 that are directly after the letters.

If you're still having no luck. Add 1 to the last digit.

Holy **** I just tried the codes again adding 1 to the RMA's I already did. Both codes went through. Just need two more addresses to send them to now

Ebay is flooded with them. I got £59 for the first one I sold on the bay. Now they go for around £25 inclusive as there is so many.

It is probable that Activision know what they are doing tbf, when someone claims a guitar a lot of the time they will also need the game, and so will go and fork out on WT. So I wouldn't at all be surprized if they have somehow made money from this.

mine failed when i originally tried it but adding 1 to the last number has sorted it lol replacement is on its way

Thanks guys. Some of the stamped numbers were very hard to make out, but I got it to accept a combination of what I think were the last four digits. Hope I haven't scammed someone else out of an RMA!
