Replacing gaming headset with Headphones/dac+amp/modmic advice

bit the bullet, amazon. I really like the software that it adds to audio. especially the gains you get for the mic are huge.

£140 seems pretty cheap for a DAC to me, so good work.
I’m sure when i was looking years back the entry level DACs for music started at around £250. I ended up getting a Xonar card based on reviews. Even that was somewhere around the £240 mark

yeh I felt bad for the price, but reflecting after a few days really happy with it for first "audiophile" experience.
