I quite enjoyed it, but it was annoying a few times where I had to wait a while for him to leave and if impatient he would come back and chase me again as I did not wait long enough for him to bugger of far enough. The Mr X guy is spoiling the game/atmosphere for me in my Leon play through. Now all i hear is annoying foot steps and i can;t shoot any zombies or he turns up. Really bad idea imo.

You are the first person to say this, many say it makes no difference. Maybe it is those with more than 8gb. Like me, I have 12gb but the game wants 13gb and it is in red.I wouldn't ignore the vram limit as suggested in the video. I tried it and framerate instantly tanked fighting this boss in the lab.

I loved some of the RE games, RE 5 in particular. Not used to think stalking crap, game is great without annoying things like that spoiling the fun.I quite enjoyed it, but it was annoying a few times where I had to wait a while for him to leave and if impatient he would come back and chase me again as I did not wait long enough for him to bugger of far enough.
I think Mr X should have only been in the B scenario like before.
You won’t enjoy Resident Evil 3 remake if they make it then, as nemesis chases you even more![]()
To each his own, but not being able to shoot and kill the zombies suddenly took away a large part of fun in the game.I disagree mate
Mr X adds more tension to the game. It also makes it harder to get to the secrets later in the game.
I couldn't help but notice the name change, I take it your no longer working for AMD?I loved some of the RE games, RE 5 in particular. Not used to think stalking crap, game is great without annoying things like that spoiling the fun.

You know that! I remember playing RE1 and 2 and literally bricking it. So tough and bullets were a rare find and storage was limited. A game you proper needed to think about before moving onwards.Matt it sounds like you started playing RE when it started turning more into a shooter. The game was always a horror survival game before 5 and the others ruined it. RE7 was a return to the original concept of atmosphere and bullet management. You were not meant to stand and kill every zombie with countless bullets. The amount of time I was out of bullets in the originals and had to run like hell past zombies added to the tension. The games were designed to make you feel unsafe almost all of the time. If you had full clips of ammo and could shoot everything dead that wouldn't happen. Mr x is there to add to this feeling.
Yeah, I think the issue here is you enjoying Resident Evil 5, which was a poor resident evil game imo. Unlimited bullets and action is not what Resident Evil game is imo. They found that out the hard way with Resident Evil 6 which is the worst one in the series.I loved some of the RE games, RE 5 in particular. I agree with everything you said, but maybe it was a typo and you meant resident evil 4, not 5. As good of a game RE4 was, it is where all the action rubbish started.
