Holy ****!

They got some work to do though, the original is one of the best games of all time, everything about it was great.



Also coming to PC of course.

The trouble with 3 is that they left out so much, no mercenaries either so no replay factor. Whereas the original I played multiple times and mercenaries added that extra.
 
I enjoyed both remakes and 4 is one of my all time favourite games, hoping this is going to be good

2023 though :(
 
My only worry for this is that development supposedly started off at an external company before Capcom brought in back inhouse, so it sounds like it's had a disjointed development to say the least. Hopefully that won't affect it negatively though. Love the original RE4, but also enjoyed the remakes for 2 and 3 (although 3 was annoyingly short). And let's be honest, Capcom are on a roll as of late.

Apparently the developers of RE2 remake are doing 4. RE3 remake was done by a different studio.
 
Not too sure how I feel about this, RE3 remake was very disappointing, back in the day the 3rd game was given a 1 year development and kind of suffered due to it but when they were given an opportunity to do RE3 justice they went and rushed it again :eek:

I liked but never loved RE2 remake like I did the original game, Mr X hunting you kind of spoiled it for me, the police station had SO much atmosphere and having to constantly look out for him took you out of that and his even sooner appearance in the 2nd play thought really didn't help. :(

Truth be told I would be happy with RE4 with no quick time events. (please dont remove the cheese from it capcom)

Mr X was great in the original, I remember playing through the A scenario then going on to B then him showing up, deployed from the chopper then dropping through the ceiling, scared the **** out of me as a young boy. But when you have played it a few times you know when he is going to appear where as remake he followed you everywhere, didn't like how he was just tossed away by Birkin though like he was nothing in the remake. Also his entrance was bland unlike the OG game.

With regards to re4 quick events, what?! No suplex?!

Yeah I guess, while not as good we the original it was definitely better than 3 remake.

I noticed there was a trend with him and hating games.

There is a fan made Code Veronica remake in the works.

Kept the original voice lines too haha

 
Excited but also anxious they do a hack job like remake of 3.

Did remind me to pick up the original cube version which should arrive today though :) . Best RE game ever imo.
