Using it as a central email collection point is made all the better as you can set Gmail up to appear to send mail from the other addresses you own, saving you time logging into those to send a message from that account.

-you can set it so if you view an emial in pop3, then it'll autoarchive the email on gmail (will be marked as read and put into the 'All Mail' label)

We were talking about receiving messages from other account within google webmail, not via Outlook Express.
