Retro console and games thread

got myself a boxed megadrive 2,with leads,instructions even still sealed,mint condition with brian lara cricket and fifa for £10 and he said pick 2 games from a pile he had so i picked street fighter 2 and alladin ,i normaly never pay £10 for a megadrive but its in great condition,ive left it at work but will put a pic up 2mor

Bought it from Electronics Boutique in the USA when I was on holiday in '98... they were doing a clear out and it was $20 :eek:
 
Impulse buy but I might have aquired a arcade machine , nothing special but should get it Tuesday , neo geo , only problem is might need some work done as screen is dodgey

I have the same as you.

Wario land ain't bad it's true. Should get some more games for it really, but lets face it there all gonna be cack.

It's so weird that it is actually N64/PS1 era tech.
 
I got my cabinet , will throw some pics up tomorrow . It switches on and can be played but the screen constantly rolls upwards. And it's a ton weight , so I am gonna try see if I can remove the weight at the bottom
 
Jaymond if you havn't already you might want to remove the battery from the A500+ before it leaks and destroys your mint amiga. Had this happen to mine and is a very common problem.

I've been busy with other stuff and have let me collection slip, going to sort it out in the coming weeks :)
