Retro console and games thread

Recently dusted off an old GBA SP that I'd been given a few years ago, but never touched. After picking up a few games, and looking round, I just had to have this:

I stupidly threw out all the inside packaging when I first received the PAL version all of those years ago, I really regret it now :(

I purchased the copy of Samba De Amigo Ver2000 within about 2 months of getting the PAL version for about £60 but it was worth it! I never touched the PAL version again after playing this! Even though all the menus are in Japanese, it is very easy to navigate and find the options/mode you want. All of the little additional play modes and songs make such an improvement on an already fun game.

My final Samba related purchase (not counting the unfortunately unplayable wii version :( ) was a new and sealed copy of the Japanese original and a set of maracas. The reason for this purchase originally was because I wanted a second set of maracas for when friends came round but due to the amount of room needed to play the game, I never got round to using the maracas (only plugged in once to test it all worked)
There was one other reason for the purchase of the Japanese version though and that was also it included a couple of extra songs that were not included in the US and PAL versions. I'm not sure why this was the case, the only thing I can think of was possible copyright issues at the time of release.

Anyway that's enough of me rambling...

went out shopping with my mam ,and followed her into the local charity shops while she was buying books. So i had abit of a look around and was suprised to come across some decent games for some good prices, its definitely worth having a look in the charity shops , you will come across loads of copies of fifa and PES but there might be some decent games amongst the rubbish

£1.99 for this, dont see many gamecube games around now so bought it

 SAMBA DE AMIGO!!!!

Only dreamcast game I never owned despite having the best looking additional controller :( (broke so many fishing rods after using them as regular pads)

When it's written down like that, it really does make me feel old :o

Seems like only yesterday I fired Wipeout up for the first time.

Same here, feels like not so long ago I fired up my brand new Playstation, all excited and seeing the welcome screen and then playing Crash Bandicoot. :D

.on. that is a thing of beauty! Am I right in thinking this is the same as my rubber 48k? but with a better keyboard?

Popped into my local Cash Convertors to grab a Gameboy Pocket I saw for £7.99 last week. But it was gone:(

On a lighter note I managed to pick up these while there for 50p each.
