GO!

The only people allowed to wear service uniform, particularly number ones, are service personnel. I'm fairly sure you can be arrested for it but not certain.

If he's actually the RAF the he's in more trouble than if he isn't; bringing the RAF in to disrepute (attacking someone in front of a bus load of people no matter what the reason would achieve this, let alone wearing uniform whilst doing it), wearing uniform incorrectly and you need permission to wear number ones even if you're in the RAF and this would be given for religious, ceremonial or marital obligations only (looks doubtful). Oh and his hair is ridiculously long for an airmen :p

These are all chargeable offences in the airforce and he would probably be sent to Colchester prison. Of course, I think it's fairly safe to presume that he's not in the RAF and probably won't even get into much trouble for wearing that jacket.

I hope he gets away with hitting her too.

Hmm, seems you were right:

Rather strange though, considering the practice of selling surplus gear is quite common. But yeah, next to no way he'll get done for it.

I guess you missed the bit where she attempted but failed miserably at assaulting him!!
She is clearly the aggressor in the situation both verbally and physically.

That's also inappropriate, but they were both using highly inappropriate language. He said she said doesn't really come into it, he shouldn't have lowered himself to her level. He just disgraced himself as well.

It looks like a fashion copy.....They are pretty common and not illegal. You can buy RAF No1s on eBay and the laws about wearing of it is not enforced.....Anyone can wear uniform as long as they are not impersonating a serviceman for personal gain and it is clear that the item is a fashion accessory and not a full uniform.

How many fancy dress balls etc do you see uniformed chaps?

"It shall not be lawful for any person not serving in Her Majesty’s Military Forces to wear without Her Majesty’s permission the uniform of any of those forces, or any dress having the appearance or bearing any of the regimental or other distinctive marks of any such uniform."
-Section 2, Uniforms Act 1894

But yeah, they can't be making that much of a fuss about it...

Ignoring the possibility that he's actually in the RAF? ;)

I didn't think it was illegal anyway, what would be illegal would be if he was impersonating a serviceman (fraud). Or have i missed something?

I would be willing to bet that he is not in the RAF. If he is he needs to

A. Sort his attitude out, he could've dealt with that in so many better ways
and
B. Get a ****ing haircut ;)

Bloody good copy if it is one, he most likely got it from someone he know who had managed to get a second.

LOL racists are just so unbelievably stupid and dumb...couldnt help but laugh at the fat cow when she ended up on her fat arse lol.

Saying that he should have swung for her and swung hard...im not one to use violence towards women but if they are willing to hit me then **** it ill hit them back just as hard.

Self defence my honour:p:D

Haha. I really hate racism but I love amateur drunken kung fu. I have mixed feelings about this video.

There are plenty of laws that are not repealed yet not enforced. The only part of that which is enforced is the bring the uniform into disrepute, and you have to be a serving enlisted man/woman for that to apply, and the impersonation of an Armed Service Officer.

How the chap in the video is wearing his jacket is not going to get him in trouble with the police, as ot is clear he is not a serviceman.

Military jackets are pretty common at the moment as fashion accessories anyway.

He probably bought it on the bay....You can get them for about £15 or so.

Just noticed the insignia though...thats a bit naughty.

Both were very abusive towards each other, shouting obscenities in a public place is not on at all. Both were very much out of order.

After watching the video, I disagree. He's using expletives loudly, yes, but I don't agree that he was abusive towards her. Maybe I missed something, but what I heard him say wasn't abusive towards her and what he did certainly wasn't. He used a very reasonable level of force in clear self-defence. That's not abusive. "I've already explained who I am. I'm an Englishman." "I get up and eat breakfast." "Sit down!" ... nothing abusive there. Sure, he was swearing a lot but that's not abusive in itself and he had plenty of reason to be angry. Having said that, the video I watched was bleeped so much that he could have recited most of War and Peace in the bleeped sections.

the likes of Pete Doherty would have been arrested many times if they had - am sure he's been photographed in all manner of badly worn No1s, mess dress etc... and looked about as smart as a tramp in an old CBRN jacket.

On the subject of the OP - whilst I don't agree with the tram woman being locked up fir having a bigoted rant this bus woman carried out a full on racially motivated attack here. She certainly deserves to spend this Christmas, in a cell, contemplating why attacking strangers on public transport is unacceptable.
