Returning apples to supermarket

Nothing wrong with. returning them. You pay for something, you expect it to be suitable.
I'm perplexed people wpuldnt seek recourse if they had a bad product.

Because in this instance if he had to go back to the supermarket he would spend more on fuel than what the apples are worth.

Jesus Christ man how can some people be so freaking worried about saving/spending money, I'm not by any means rich but I would never stress myself for anything less then 30 pounds.

1.50, seriously? Jesus man, you're a freaking joke, if I was the Asdas staff I'd throw the Apples at you and then take the money from my own pocket.

It's all about the Pink Lady.

Tentation are my favourite at the moment... though only M&S have them I think.. :)

Decent Royal Gala are good, so is a New Zealand Braeburn.

Golden are still the biggest selling apples though, along with Granny and Pink Lady..

I watched a programme about apples once, supermarkets buy into how the apple looks not how it tastes. I suggest buying apples elsewhere if you want nice tasting ones.

True, though M&S prefer good tasting ones, as do Waitrose. The rest just have specifications, size, sugar, pressure etc.

I complained to the makers of Jelly Tots once that a packet had split and dropped sugar all over my jeans. It was a sort of student joke (crazy times). They sent me a cheque for £1 woot.

Haha that's fantastic! I read the crazy times part with a dutch accent :D (Been watching Bill Bailey's Tinselworm recently :p)

Yeah of course you would, what then you'd batter me with your keyboard.

Well I threw them away in the end, I hope your all happy now, I've got some pink ladys now BTW.
