Review: Antec 300 "gamers case" ( lots of pics! )

How long (in inches) is the 7800GTX? I'm thinking of getting one but it would need to fit my GTX260 which is 21" long. Also i assume the case isn't supplied with the front intake fans?

Iv always liked this case from the outside but nothing against your review as its very good but the finish and quality of the internals show why its only £35. From the front though i really like the design. If i ever built a rig for someone i would prolly use it.

Looks very tall from the pics, i doubt it would fit in my desk space.

Great review.

Have you manged to put some fans on the front intake?
And does it help keep your system much cooler? Was thinking of adding some to mine once its been repaired.

When I swapped from an old asus case to an Antec 300 my system temps dropped around 10 degrees and that's without putting in the front and side intakes. When the weather gets warmer I'll probably slip in some led 120mm's then.

It depends what components you put in it and how much extra bling you want really.

the 300 is a great case for the money

i prefer building in these at work more than most others

i think it looks better than the 900 by miles

I prefer these full aluminium (or otherwise) cases. Brushed.

These plastic dealies with windows and lights just don't crack it for me. If I had the cash I'd be getting a lian-li one. But have to settle for what seems a good case.

I'm prob not going to use it as I've decided I don't think they will be anything wrong with my existing case once the notua and 120mm case fan has been fitted.

This a much better case for £40 than the 900 for £70, id choose this even if they cost the same amout

It's a GPU air intake fan, so it's a "blow in".

Just got this case for christmas. Only problem is that the 140mm fan has a fin broken. I'm going to give OCUK a call on Monday and see about getting a replacement sent out. Hopefully they can sort that out for me.

Apart from that it looks fantastic, very neat, cable management options look good. I might need to cut a hole or two in the motherboard tray. Looks good though.

If they can't help with sending you a fan, I'm sure they will sort you with another case.

Otherwise Antec support is extremely efficient and I'm sure they wouldn't take long to send you a replacement fan.
