rFactor F1

I've reinstalled my machine, so setting everything up from scratch.

I'll be on some 7ish onwards I reackon.

right after a few hundred laps this weekend, it's official Maxi is to fast!

We are going to update the track list again over next couple days, taking off Monaco and introduce Silverstone and Abu-Dhabi and Brazil.

As mentioned before tonight we are going to be uploaded new tracks and settings.

Name change also. Will update the forum once complete.

Thanks.

ok - my server admin and I have decided on a few tracks to add and subtract. Once we have them uploaded and working I will create a single file for you.

Any way to download the tracks in 1 file.

I'll see if we can create a .rar file with all the tracks in it and i'll ask Log1k to host on his website.

I had a look at that danswan. i cant find a way to it onto the server which sucks as it would be great. I'll have a look around and see if I can find one that'll work with the server.

Right, some updates.

first port of call is to get yourselves to www.log1k.co.uk for Turkey and Track Pack 2. Install those.

Server is now called OCUK F1 Racing.

I have looked at the lap recording link but as I do not own the box I cannot load up .exe's. Plus it's running on a linux box.
I'll keep my eyes out for something that does the job though.

Track list at present is just quick tracks, techincal and good for racing.

Praccy is now 30 minutes, qual 10 and race 6 laps.

I hope you all join in and come racing. If you want to arrange times etc to meet then please do so.

If you are struggling to get on with the new tracks make sure you put the 3 folders in this directory:

C:\*rFactor Install Location*\rFactor\GameData\Locations\F1WCP\2009

The 3 folders you need to move here are

Hungary
Brazil
Spain

If not you will get .Mas load errors.

I played the 60min demo of rfactor with my new g27 last night, it was great! Am I right in thinking that there's a new version coming out soon? If so i'll wait for that rather than pay out now.

What force feedback settings is everyone using? just got a wheel (driving force GT) so need to get it all sorted.

Is the server not always online? I'm trying to find it now and I can't find it.

It should be, you are looking for "OCUK F1 Racing". You might have to refresh the server browser 2/3 times due to rFactors poor UI can only display a certain number of servers. If not try to connect via the IP:

89.238.160.34:34397

Check out this website for all of the files etc:

As for FFB make sure you have RealFeel installed. Which you can get from here:

http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Real Feel FFB Plugin

You might also need to adjust the forces in the opposite direction in rfactors settings if you are have issues with your wheel wobbling all over the place.
