Uber quick one, i've got some fantastic 10oz ribeyes sat salting, how should i cook them?

"Normal" Gas bbq or cast iron griddle pan over a double burner hob, what's gonna provide the best results?

What would YOU choose?

Tom.

Providing you have lava rock which looking at that one I think it does then it makes no difference it's gas.

Regardless I still prefer to griddle my steaks over any form of bbq.

It is indeed lava rock.

I'm trying to make my mind up, the cast iron will get hotter i think, but i love the taste from a bbq!

Half way through their salt sitting, all that moisture will absorb back in before they get cooked hopefully :)

Well my car went through MOT for just the price of the MOT so my Weber Smokey Mountain is drawing ever closer :)

I would try the bbq for a change. Griddle pan can be done any time when the weather isn't so pleasant.

On the basis that OMGWTFBBQ is way better than OMGWTFCASTIRONGRIDDLEPAN I'd have to say BBQ wins.

I really like your plate :o

I also like the way you managed to slyly slip your BMW keys in to the picture, we know you own one :p :D

IKEA plates lol I have them as well!

Ah now you mention it of course it is! My parents have the same but in green.

I'm just a sucker for anything black :D

I'd probably go with the cast iron pan by the way, but I'm no chef!
