US: Rick & Morty

Only thing that grinds my gears is that Rick was cool with the occasional gimmick invention. Now he's kinda Ex Machina's anything so he's functionally immortal. The story lines lose their excitement when everything can be solved by anything.
 
Ep1 was good - ridiculous stuff one. I like those.

Ep2 Bored me - Alternate dimension holiday life one that's meant to be a bit of a deeper dive on Rick but ultimately was meh.
 
Done with this show now. It's rubbish. The adventures aren't fun or funny, they're just things that escalate over and over and Rick has a ex machina thing to solve everything over and over. Boring.
 
Not watched this weeks episode yet (out today) but I can't say I've been enjoying the stories that much compared to previous seasons, does feel like it's just going over previous 'fan favourite' characters each week.

I'm in this boat too, I enjoyed the first episode and then I've found myself watching the episodes after and not really liking them.

It's like they wheeled out Evil Morty for the start of the series to gather interest and it's petering off from there.
