Riddle me this!

So everyone on here tells me not to install the Intel drivers (ie AHCI controller driver) under windows 7 if i want TRIM to work.

I tried it and the command prompt still returns a 0 to say TRIM is running.

Am I missing something?

Windows will still enable TRIM, it just cant pass the commands on to the drive through the Intel drivers.

Ah okay. So if I install chipset inf update utility, which drivers do I need to roll back and how can you truly tell that trim is working?

are Intel on the case with new drivers?
