I'd argue that it puts you at MORE risk - Town/slow driving vehicles not paying attention, loads of distractions, slower = less perceived threat... all while on local roads that you think you know like the back of your hand, which usually means you'll be a bit complacent too.Yes it does though.
Honestly, I'd probably have walked that distance before you'd even finished suiting up!I totally respect those that decide to wear all gear at all times, but personally I simply can't be fathomed to get a full suit on to go 600m to Waitrose.
