I just picked up a Vive new for £479, should be here tomorrow, otherwise I'd have been all over this.

It's being called a Summer of Rift or something so presumably it's a limited time offer. Although the last price reduction stuck so who knows.

I think eventually they'll all get to around £299 and stay there, new ones might come in dearer then slowly drop down to it.

I'm glad I held off from purchasing Oculus when it was £550. It's an absolute steal at £399! I couldn't pass it up.

I wonder how many scalpers will buy them at this low price in order to turn a profit?

I'm trying to wait until the next gen of sets come out and it becomes more mainstream but these prices are very good!

I said this, now i'm glad I didn't wait. The "issues" people talk about disappear once you literally get your head in the game. Life's too short, get one. Honestly you won't regret it.
