I'm just surprised he can count to 19!

And doesn't particularly surprise me..... Although god knows how he does it! Have you seen him? :) Alcohol clearly helps....

Sorry to hear it mate,

Me and my ex girlfriend split up last year because she thought it wasn't going anywhere and didn't think I was happy. At the time I thought I was and was absolutely gutted but looknig back it was the right thing to do I guess.

Not saying it is for you obviously but given time things sort themselves out and they'll be others and all that.

Best thing to do now? Personally I just played loads of computer games, spent a lot of time with friends and just tried to get on with things without getting to caught up about it. It's important to just there and think about it all as well though, just chill out with some music on. Always helps I find.

Anywho shayper, you'll move on quick enough once your back at uni. Plenty of freshers to rebound off.
If your after more of a 'relationship', I've found looking for girls in day to day situations works a lot better

She might just be throwing it out there to satisfy her neediness. I.e.

what you actually need to do is go back to uni and get over it. If you try to change her mind and she does it will always be lingering in her mind she is unhappy with distance and will set up relationship for a fall.

Go enjoy uni, you don't have to smash all girls on campus you know. Girls talk! and girls are rarely interested in someone that has fornicated with half their friends for long term relationship.

You might want to cut down on the amount of girls you are sleeping with. Chances are if you are lucky enough to meet a lovely girl at Uni, the sort really worth having a relationship with, she isn't going to find the fact the you have slept with most of the girls on her course (slight exaggeration) an attractive quality. Of course not all girls have a problem with it and you don't have to wait until you are practically married before sleeping with someone. But seriously, you might want to slow down a bit.

Cutting down on the drink (not omitting) isn't a bad idea either. After all nights out are still fun even if you aren't wasted and sleeping with a random right?
 
chill out guys and give him a chance. We've all been there and split up with gfs and posted drunken threads which we shouldn't have.

if you can't say anything nice or constructive then don't post. There does seem to be a lot of negativetivity by some members recently .....post xmas blues¿
