Listened to Teresa May on the radio earlier this morning, she's just utterly useless and unwilling to show any leadership at all when it comes to decision making. They're waiting on Cameron to come back, probably so he can claim any glory from putting this situation right, when in reality it's the police on the streets who will do the work, at the same time as taking cuts. It's a mad situation to have where we have to await the return of our Prime Minister to put down riots.

Politicians need to let the police off the leash, let them get on with it without playing games. Someone is going to die if this continues, might be a rioter but more likely an innocent member of the public or a police officer.

Rubber bullets, water cannon, dogs, mounted police and tear gas time boys. Enact emergency laws and let the police go at the rioters without the fear of compensation claims.

Rather tragic that we can't deal with a few hundred rioters but we're hosting the olympics in 12 months..

Yes they are allowed to use reasonable force etc. I know that, but they should be given carte blanche, told to go in and crack some skulls, there is no possibility of you being suspended or sacked.

It is amazing that nobody has died yet, and I hope nobody does, well unless it's a rioter then good riddance.
 
Ok readers, a moment on why they feel justified for their actions.

Lets look at the society, Overpaid footballers, celebrities, bankers bonuses, and massive amounts of money on the lottery given out.

The gap is to wide for the have and have not for the reasons I have mentioned.

We see via the media this exploitation, thrown in your face so people are saying I want this life style.

Fair wage for what you are skilled up to do. A premier footballer should not be paid silly amounts of money, for example money should be distributed more evenly for work done.

Their should not even be any billionaires because money is distributed fairly.

thanks to our previous and current Government, all of our Armed Forces are being utilised to police the rest of the world and not our own country. I would send these idiotic thugs to Afghanistan if they want mindless violence and see how tough they are then.

What we see on the news is a result of envy and jealousy, the desire for honest work is not in theses criminals.

She doesnt water authorise extreme force because if it goes 'wrong' the blame will land with her. common in politcs to relegate difficult decisions to other people so you will you'll save your own job when the SHTF

The riots in NI over the summer are nothing on the scale compared to what is happening in the mainland at the moment, although having said that, I wouldn't be adverse to employing the same rules elsewhere.

What is happening in London is nothing on the scale of what can and does happen here, you are displaying a dubble standard. On one hand you are mute to the issues of one area of the UK, then when it flares in another its a knee jerk responce. One law for them and another for us...

Its only unique in that the rest of the UK consider it not their problem and as such they wash their hands of the issue.
 
Bring back the stocks. Invite the whole country to come and throw whatever they want at them for a month. Feed them only bread and water.
