They had a race riot between South Asians and blacks before in 2005 over a rumor that a black girl was raped by south Asian males this time it is 3 south Asians dead at the hands of a black individual.

I can personally see it occurring but I can't say I am certain I know they have tensions up there but don't know to what extent.

yes they are doing their job and the job the public demands of them does not compute.
 
Police have identified one suspect seen on CCTV allegedly mugging injured boy during riots.

Hope it's that **** chav that walked away all smug after rooting through the guy's bag!
 
Birmingham Boots are closing again at 4pm under police advice. I know because we're diverting their phones, apparently the same is for most of town. 4PM lock down.

EDIT - "hundreds of millions of pounds a week"? Last I head it was under £300m and we have been there 5+ months?

so i guess its still "unsafe" to go out in streets as it was yesterday.. well ill get on my bike and see how woodgreen looks i need to do some shopping anyways..

There were a number of arson, the majority small and vandalism attacks in London last night, so the element is still there, it was just tame in comparison to the previous nights.

Late last night the BBC and Sky did seem to shy away from showing anything, much like Sunday night.

LBC is pretty much the best source for what is happening, along with some of the news blogs; Twitter is useful, but only when really verified.

Police numbers clearly helped, but it's now more down to the fact that it's been widely publicised just how many Rioters have their faces displayed and the government is now quickly trying to hand out harsh sentences.
