Not much info on this but Gene, his wife, and their dog were all found dead at their home. It sounds like a suicide.

I wondered the same, gas leak or something perhaps. Although I guess they could have decided to simply go out together , they had been together for 35 years or something so its possible, though also thinking to include the dog is unusual so perhaps it was a leak

Just heard this on the news, him, his wife and dog does point to something like Carbon Monoxide but such a shame, unfortunately as I get older so do all the great actors who I grew up watching RIP
