RIP Mark Speight

RIP.

It can't have been easy living after what happened to his girlfriend, I hope he's at peace now.
 
I think that this is the first celebrity death that has genuinely brought a tear to my eye. :(

Rest in peace.
 
A lot of us grew up, as such with Mark. In the various childrens programs he did.

It's an awful loss. RIP Mark.

Least he is with the one he loves now.
 
As has been said previously unfortunately when it was announced he'd gone missing I started fearing the worst.

Heartbreaking end to his life :(

I met him when I was a kid when I was in the audience for one of his shows years ago, he gave me his autograph and seemed like a really top bloke.
 
As soon as I heard he had gone missing, I had a feeling of what was going to happen. Still a shock to see the news, as I used to be a fan of his when I was younger.

Show some God damned respect.

Such sad news, I loved him on SMart and he was a brilliant childrens presenter.

It looked likely with what's gone on in his life recently but that doesn't make it any easier or any less of a shock.

I can only imagine what his family and close friends are feeling now.

RIP, my thoughts are with his family and friends.
