RIP Metric System

I think you need to re-examine reality, the reality is a lot of people use both systems in certain scenarios, with metric being the clear logical winner if it absolutley has to be one or the other.

So by all means print the imperial measurement equivelent, like we already do and there is no law to prevent that.
Adding extraneous information is the epitome of EU bureaucracy..

Fine, do everything in metric then, lol, if company A wants to provide archaic measurements, as helpfull guide, then that's totally fine. It always was.
Good luck convincing people to have 500 ml of lager lol - this slavish devotion to EU rules is sad but regardless the change is coming so good news.

If I had to choose 1 it would be metric because it's closer linked to SI units. Doesn't bother me having both but removing metric (not suggesting it's going to be) is ridiculous. However enforcing Imperial is equally ridiculous.

The EU was formed recently in terms of time, are you saying the EU invented the metric system just to annoy people who can't do maths, by replacing it with an even easier model?? that is a very special train of thought.... you should be studied by scientists to understand what's wrong in your brain.

What a waste of time and money. Country is on its arse, do we really need this garbage?

It's what's called "flinging a dead cat onto the table".

It distracts people from the more insidious things the conservatives are doing. We argue about weights and measures whilst they quitely change the ministers code so you don't have to resign for lieing to the public, or to the house..
