Has anyone actually got any evidence that money is being diverted or is this just hypothetical?
So we're back to your claim that £0.00 was spent on this then?

…it is when what they are ‘guilty’ of is so unbelievably pathetic as being in a room with people singing happy birthday..It's not a witchhunt when they find the person guilty....
Somebody claimed money was being diverted - Ive seen no evidence so assume its a hypothetical rant..So we're back to your claim that £0.00 was spent on this then?

Given the govt is giving everyone £400 in October I think the concept of a pot is largely irrelevant. How much is this costing? You are the only person using the word "diverted".
It's not a difficult concept to grasp that if you have a limited pot of money then spending some of it on A means you have less to spend on B, C and D

Ahh sorry I forgot you are that gullible that you believe that's all he did, "ambushed by cake" LOL!…it is when what they are ‘guilty’ of is so unbelievably pathetic as being in a room with people singing happy birthday..

Well, there goes any very weak argument that Imperial measurements might have one minor plus - that they might aid an understanding of fractions.I seem to remember a certain US fast food chain introducing a 1/3lb burger... the idea bombed because people thought a quater was larger than a third.
Yeah, I'm definitely getting that vibe. He's obviously not an idiot since his posts are well constructed, but the arguments are so poorly thought out and illogical that it's difficult to actually take seriously
I bet you'd cry your eyes out if some random on the internet called you an idiot lolDefinition of idiot noun from the Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary
(informal) a rude way to refer to somebody who you think is very stupid synonym foolsee also village idiot
- When I lost my passport, I felt such an idiot.
- What idiot pressed the switch?
Or maybe legislate so that the most appropriate could be used for a given scenario. They could just print both, like most places already do.. for example you buy a pc monitor in inches, but OCUK list the metric too.
That's probably an easy example, because I'm used to things like tv screens and planks of wood being imperial, but for most things metric is better and really is the way forward.
