I lost my dad in April last year (he was 48) so I know how you feel. It's the natural order of things to see your parents die eventually but when it's premature it's a massive shock.
All I can really say is that you should remember her every day, honour her memory, make the best you can of your life - I'm sure that's what she would have wanted.
It's a little premature but have you thought about giving the eulogy at the funeral? I did it for my dad and it was an immensely fulfilling thing to do.
