RIP mum

RIP m8

I always say these forums are a good place for this sort of thing. All total strangers but m8s in our own geeky way. Hope you feel better soon.

I am so sorry to hear this terrible news.

My own Mum died at 68, in a similar way to your own.

There is nothing anyone can say to take your pain away at this time.

However, although it is a cliche, time IS a great healer.

You will never forget the pain, but you will learn to cope.

If you want to chat e-mail me (in trust) and I'll gladly provide my phone number.

My thoughts are with you at this very difficult time.

Hi Ky, I am really sorry to be reading this. I don't know what thoughts are going through your head as I have never lost an immediate family member.

I have lost a grandparent and can confidently say time is a healer and does help a lot. It never goes away and you will always miss your Mum but it does get easier.

I wish I could do more to help but I can't. You just need to be there for your family and they will be there for you.

I'm so sorry to hear this, my condolences to both you and your family at this terrible time.

Sorry to hear this, my gf probably has MS fortunately for her it's relatively 'benign' (<-- very misleading term which just means it doesn't threaten her life) form. Still hearing things like this fill me with terror.

i'm sorry to hear about your mum, i lost mine to cancer at 20. it gets easier, and the good times can bring a smile to your face again/

but it will take time, so be there for your stepdad, and let him be there for you.

god bless
