RIP Prince

Bowie n Prince jamming, Ronnie and Victoria busting jokes out, Daniels pulling rabbits out of hats, Rickman monologuing and Wogan hosting the show, I'm not ready for a seat just yet but sounds like a reet show. RIP

That wrestling woman died today as well. Her that was in 3rd Rock from the Sun.

Had the privilege to see him in '93, "Rock Over Germany", absolutely fantastic. He came on at the end of the night and was still going in the early hours, a real showman.

R.I.P. Prince, a true Legend.

Not my cup of tea but I did like "When Doves Cry" when it came out and his "Nothing Compares 2 U" covered by Sinéad O'Connor was fantastic. A talent for sure.

Another morning waking up to the news of a personality passing... what a very strange year this is. I never was into his style of music, but his talent and influence is undeniable.

RIP...

Knock it off!

He has got a point, Amy Winehouse got a lot of stick on here for just being another "junkie" who died and I would say Prince consumed far more substances in his time.

It does seem a bit hit or miss if you can take recreational drugs and be forgiven or condemed for it.

I'm not disputing anything he said, it's just maybe best not to bring it up in a thread where people are for all intents paying respects because the thread then starts to deviate off topic. People disagree and long off topic discussions then take over the thread, see below, one thing will just lead to another.

Where are you getting this from? As far as I'm aware, he was hugely health conscious.

Gutted about this, he was a crazy egomaniac but that's what made him Prince!

He'll be sadly missed! I don't think people realise just how good a guitarist he was too!

I remember seeing an interview with someone who worked closely with him, if Prince was in the city and at 3am decided he wanted a camel, he wouldn't be able to understand why it couldn't just happen, how it could be a problem. hilariously bonkers! RIP!
