It's with great sadness that we have to announce that @robfosters passed away on the 14th March. His obituary can be found here along with a JustGiving link if anyone would like to donate.

As many of you will know Rob had a serious heart condition which he discusses in this thread. In October 2020 he announced that the condition was terminal and that he was unlikely to live longer than a year. Thankfully Rob was able to fight on much longer than that.

Rob was a huge character on the forums, whether in here, La Cuisine or the Football Stadium and it's quite fitting his last two posts were finding out where he can buy twix crispy rolls from and giving Liverpool supporters **** for losing to PSG.

My brother asked me to pick up some happy birthday candles for his girlfriends cake today, so I popped in to Asda and picked up a pack. However, I’m a little disappointed with what we got. I think I should get my £1.50 back.

Ah this is said to hear, I don’t think I had many personal convos with rob but he’s 100% one of the GD stalwarts, always see his name!

i'm genuinely gutted by this - while I certainly didn't always agree with him or see eye to eye on things, rob was 'one of us' and it feels like such a gut punch he's gone.
