RIP SHIFTER

Further to my earlier condolences, just a couple of thoughts:

Could this not be pinned temporarily? It'd be a shame for it to slip off the first page within a couple of hours. We've lost another one of our own, it'd be nice to make sure the fact was acknowledged at least long enough for a decent number of people to realise it.

As for deleting the account, while I can see why this was requested would this not delete all Shifter's contribution to the forums? Maybe better to 'lock' the account instead or something? Just wondered; it'd be a shame to lose his unique contributions rather than to preserve them.
 
RIP Shifter. I didn't know him on here but sounded like a mighty sound chap judging by his previous posts.

My thoughts are with you and his family during what must be a difficult time.
