RIP Steve Irwin

Mate of mine just told me about Steve, gutted to hear about the news. The bloke was larger than life and even tho he was ott you couldnt help but like him :)

Absolutely gutted, such a shame as he was such an enthusiastic man who clearly loved what he did.

Awful news, I loved watching his shows, and he was a genuine and very funny guy. I always thought that in the end, his dangerous activities were going to catch up with him, but it's shocking that it's actually happened. RIP :(
 
In todays world of pretencious celebs this man was a breath of fresh air and a fantastic celebrity whose TV shows I enjoyed immensely, albeit I thought he was a little crazy, although that made him who he was. Australia will be a country in mourning today.

I am very sad to hear about his passing. :(

RIP Steve.
 
this is sad news, especially for his family.

the fact the there are so many nice things said about him wherever news of his death has reached says it all.

I've just woke up to hear this awful news. This man cheered me up on many occasions, especially one where he was chased by one of those dragon things, he made his escape up a small tree.

R.I.P Steve, you will be missed!
 
I remember that moment Maxi, made me chuckle. This guy was amazing, I loved his work and found his passion rather outstanding. He will be missed :(

Are you sure that was steve? Wasnt it the guy with the south african type accent, was on ch5 a little while ago, wouldnt mind knowing his name if anyone knows who im on about :p

Anyway, RIP steve :(

Yeah it was him. It was showed on a tribute to him tonight on TV :)
 
:eek: :( Man im gutted, R.I.P Steve Irwin, top top bloke, done so much for the conservation of wildlife etc

And by a stingray as well, there hardly ever fatal if stung by one, just usually hurts a lot, wrong place at wrong time :(

Thoughts out to family and all who new him!

Austin Stevens is a very cool guy also. :) As far as I know both of them have filmed Komodo dragons and possibly been chased by them as well.
