RIP DJ Silly Boy, used to listen to him whilst driving back from London & home counties during lockdown for work, made a lot of the journeys round the M25 bearable

I remember skiving off work to see Steve Wright on Southsea common back in the 90s when the DJs used to do the Radio 1 Roadshow. And yes, I also own I'll Be Back by Arnee and The Terminators .

Really shocking news. There's no funny and entertaining afternoon radio anymore. Steve Wright's show was briliant.

Steve Wright was one of a small number of constants on bbc radio. Whenever I was doing something and turn on the radio more often than not Steve was on there.

There was always that moment as your growing up that you'd move from radio 1 to radio 2. We'd always known of Steve Wright so we knew he must be good.

He'll be missed by a lot of people.
