Ripspeed Alloys

local free ads/owners forum - just some time

set of oem 172/182 alloys with good tyres- couple of hundred quid

the benefit of not having chav rims on your car and ocuk ripping you for it - priceless

Apart from looking chavvy and horrible, those wheels will most likely come shod in the most dodgy, rubbish, ning nong tyres known to man.

Set of 4 OEMs,

£240 including tyres with 3mm or more tread left.

Sound reasonable?

If the tyres have 3mm then they are pretty much ready for the bin but they should keep you legal for a little while. Just be sure that your are happy to be shelling out for more tyres in the not too distant future.

Lol I used to work at Ripspeed in Edmonton with Keith Ripp, what a character!
The main business there was motorsport, then it went all boy racery when his sons started getting into cars.

Now the name is 100% barry :/

If it had a respected manufacturer on the centre cap, you'd think they look alright

So its probably a knock off of somebody elses design maybe? I.E over here Rota seem to be considered a fairly decent brand but in the US their name isn't worth **** because they just make copies of other company's wheels and they have a terrible rep for breaking/failure.

I doubt the will be safety issues because at the end of the day Halfords wont buy dangerous wheels, not because they care but because they don't want the lawsuit or even worse the bad publicity.

Its worth noting though that the free tyres that come with Halfords wheels are free for a reason...

And be heavier than the steels, badly made and look complete and utter gash. I don't get how you (the OP) even thought they were attractive!

OEM.
