Rizoma Elisse - adapter question

Hopefully someone round here as Rizoma Elisse mirrors, or knows about them!

I'm looking to get some, but not sure if I need the adapter or not for my Speed Triple.

If you have a look here: https://www.motocard.com/en/back-mirror/rizoma-bs171b.aspx you can see the mirrors screwed directly in to the existing holes.

You can see some pics of them on a Speed here: http://www.triumphspeedtriple.fr/viewtopic.php?t=224&start=230#p72309 which matches the product picture on Motocard.

However, when you use the 'find adapter for this bike' option on the Rizoma website, it's saying I need these: https://www.motocard.com/en/back-mirror/rizoma-bs711b.aspx

Anyone know if I do actually need the adapters? Do the Rizoma mirrors come with no adapter/screws maybe, and the what's picture on Motocard is showing some with an adapter already on?

On the second link it says adaptor not needed for those models in the PDF on the right,did you look at the PDF?

In there, the Speed is in the 'EXCEPT' list on the naked bikes table. Not too what that means :/

1st page has the elisse, the speed isn't on the "except" list, which means that you don't need adapters.

They don't look anywhere near as nice as bar ends and cost a ton more then even the official bar ends!

Nah the bar ends are not even close to as nice as the Rizomas, I prefer the stock mirrors to them.

That's a confusing web site. If you go to the Moorespeed racing website, they have a link to the naked bike adapters pdf which lists BS787B as the required adapter for a 2013+ Street Triple.

Thanks. Just had a look at BS787B and it looks similar to the BS711, just with a hole through rather than that other bolt. It still doesn't make sense when looking at the mirrors attached to the speed on that French forum though.

That's what I'm thinking at the moment, but when you look at the pics of Rizomas in the box, the attachment bit at the bottom is different to what the guy on TriumphSpeedTriple.fr has used. But then maybe in the Rizoma box is some sort of stock adapter.

Still confused

looking at the pics, your going to see more of your arm than anything else.
my bar end mirrors I don't see any arm, so even though there smaller I can see more, left one set to see all of my lane and the right one set to see the other lane, no having to pull elbow in to see .
total cost £10 for a pair

On the downside you've made the widest part of the bike about 6-8 inches wider

Those would look alright I reckon, but as above, I really don't want to be making my bike any wider, awful for filtering!

Good point, but filtering is illegal in Switzerland so it doesn't really affect me.

cant you buy the mirrors first? then the adaptors later if you need them
