Had no problems, if your getting to were your a few inch off something either side you shouldn't be trying to get though that gap anyway.
maybe not good for those riders that can judge a gaps width, personally I don't have that problem, had them on over a year with zero problems filtering

Nah, shipping is free to come to me, so it'll be cheaper to order the mirrors then adapters, saves me having to pay postage to send the adapters back if I don't need them.
 
It's simple then.

Order mirrors, 3 days later order adapters.

Mirrors arrive, if the adapters aren't needed, refuse deliver 3 days later for a full refund. If they are needed then accept the deliver and you only waited an extra 3 days.
