I'm not sure what they deem as a reasonable amount of time, the best people to contact are ConsumerLine.I thought they had to turn the RMA around in 28 days? That is generally held to be the reasonable time scale for a customer to be without their product while it is repaired?
If it goes back to Asus about 8 weeks .
I sent an Asus back to overclockers last week, all they did was send it on to Asus. I phoned to ask how long to get it back and he said maybe 4 weeks. They don't seem to appreciate being without your pc for 4 weeks is a big problem.
Consumerline
{'We'll have to send it back to the manufacturer'. This is not true. If you've bought faulty goods, it's up to the trader to deal with the problem. He/she can sort it out with the manufacturer later.}
That's precisely the line i got, even though the mobo was under 6 months old.
Well in your case it's only been a week so will just have to wait.I've just been advised that under 12 months my contract was with overclockers, and 14-28 days is a reasonable time for them to sort it.
How long did you have the original motherboard? I think if it's within 28 days of purchase they will simply replace the goods, someone else maybe able to verify that as it could be 7 days.i sent a rampage board back on tuesday, got new board back friday same week.
now thats quick service, keep it up overclockers.
Well as of today it's 28 days, time to ring up OcUK & get an eta on your RMA.the Maximus formula was bought mid feb and was fine until mid May at which point it stopped posting at all.
