rma'd my maximus formula se in May - how long for an RMA?

I think the general concensus is that the Black Ops is a huge waste of money.
Get an Asus Rampage Formula or one of the DFI's if you want to go for an X48 board.

ASUS Rampage or DFI LT X48-TR2 or J&W X48D2-Extreme if you want something a bit different and slightly easier to overclock than the DFI. The DFI just has too many options in my opinion, and the Northbridge runs extraordinarily hot with the stock cooler, so you need a fan on that.

Let us know what happens with the RMA anyway will be interesting to know the outcome, their is no way I would wait more than 28 days as legally you shoudnt have too infact a month is a joke as it is.
The morale of the story is, if you value good RMA service - DO NOT BUY Asus Motherboards full stop, for a company of their size you should be getting the motherboard back within 5 working days.
Ok just haad a note back offering a non watercooled maximus extreme or rampage as a replacement for my watercooled Formula SE.
I specifically wanted to w/c the northbridge which is why I bought the SE
Apparently a Foxconn black ops isnt possible
as an alternative ...
Not much point in accepting another ASUS board (esp given their track record so far, whats the bets the next one expires prematurely as well)
so that leaves a refund or maybe a q9450 as a useful alternative
p.s. anyone else find the 'webnote' communications a total pain?

I think it's quite good I prefer it as I cannot make personal phone calls at work normally (unless lunchtime) so I sneak off a webnote if I have a problem or need info etc, I usually get a reply within 24 hours, sometimes they are really busy.

Tried the 'pay the balance' approach as that was my first thought but that wasnt taken up. Not too worried there though as it was pointed out that black ops is a poor choice for the cost
I can use my personal email no problem so cutting n pasting in all the relevant numbers and previous conversation is a pain in the RS
They do get back to you pretty quick though.
