It wasn't the best ride I've ever had; while the weather was good and the roads quiet, my bike was being a pain and my legs were giving out. I should really have breakfast before I go out in future. I'm sure when you're out touring you'll be keen to get up at the crack of dawn every dayGoing out for a ride in a minute. I wish I could get up at 5am like you Saundie...
I was out running past Midnight the other day. Amazing isn't it, when no one else is aboutI was out at 5 this morning for a couple hours, came home after my bike decided that it didn't want to stay in gear. It was quite nice having the road to myself. I didn't see another cyclist until about 6:30![]()
Apologies if it's been posted before, but this looks like an interesting bit of kit- cardboard helmet, passes (and vastly exceeds) all the safety tests, and a bespoke model for your exact head shape is about £80 (including measurement- replacements are cheaper)
