Oops, didnt read your post properly, I thought you were talking about a torch rather than a headlight.

I actually have a headlight as well but it's newer than the torches and hasnt had as much use yet. I'v done quite a few short 2-3 hour rides with it but never taken it on a proper long ride, so i dont know what the battery life is like. It lasted through the Strathpuffer 24hour race but that was in a team of 4, so I probably only rode about 4-5 hours in the dark. It was cold though and that usually kills batteries, so maybe it's not that bad.

That's really good for a single charge, enough for my needs to be honest. I do worry it'll blind on coming cars, any thoughts on that?

Wiliers are silly good value:

105 (mostly) groupset and a carbon frame (which used to cost more than this bike on its own). £1300.

or a more modern frame (Di2 ready) with campag for £1500:

or 105 for £1800:

Interesting they call their TT bike Time Trail bikes lol

Yep, that could be a problem even on the lowest setting.
I always go off-road on my mtb when it's dark, so i only do a couple of miles on the road before i get off into the woods somewhere. I usually have one of my torches on a low setting and angled down on my bars when riding on the road and turn on the headlight when i get off the road.
It should be ok as long as you keep it angled down though.

Aye it's pretty good going as I was saying to tedmaul earlier in the thread.

GTR frame is a lot nice looking in my eyes compared to the izoard, maybe not as classy though.

Stayed back late to check out a problem on a customers bike and got him halfway home. He's pretty ******* strong on a hill as soon as we left. Got up to speed on a straight bit of dual carriageway but he didn't understand to get on my wheel when I came past and we could have sat at silly speeds :( 31.2mph for 0.7m and the fastest guy maintained 39.7mph average. No way I'm hitting that on a normal road bike lol.

I have shimano on my mountain bike. I have Campag on my road bike. SRAM is just for perverts.

Campag stuff is light, repairable, and pretty #whatsnottolike
