Agreed, mine is amazing, so versatile, nothing else in the UK market comes close. Get a new one and have that smug look on your face when you don't need to adjust layers on most rides! :D

It's a fantastic bit of kit. A must have for any serious rider in my opinion.

For my serious riding I have some Castelli Free Aero Race Bib shorts but I'm looking for bib's around the £80~ mark what are my best options DHB are an option but I have one of there tops and its OK but hardly has a quality feeling . Any suggestions ?

EDIT

These any good Gore Bike Wear Power 2.0 Bibtights Short+ or is it worth paying a tenner more and getting some Castelli Velocissimo Due Bib shorts?

I have the Castelli Free Aero Race shorts also. They are lovely. I am nervous about going cheaper to be honest although they have really leapt in price. I reckon I got mine for about £85 18 months ago.

The Etxeondo Orhi shorts at Merlin are very well regarded and discounted to £90. The Castelli Velocissimo seem well regarded and the Kiss 3 pad is supposed to be good but not as good as the Progetto. My Dhb shorts are pretty good but anything over 3 hours I will always wear my Castelli's.

Not new Sora - that has proper shifters.

Very impressed with the new Sora group set.

I suspect it is just 9 speed Tiagra, re-branded.

Shifters are far less complicated than 105 and have less moving parts.

shifting is good, really can't fault it as a group set.

Sportful might be a good bet - recently got the bodyfit pro ltd edition which I think I may now prefer to the castelli aero race. The bodyfit classic is a bit cheaper and not the same pad, but gets good reviews

My bike stand arrived today. Not had chance to use it yet but it seems excellent value!

Assos S2 from assos retailer worth a shot, although think they're £90 or were when I got them. My favourite bibs by far. The sportfuls mentioned above have got some very good reviews too.

Can't seem to get rid of the itch for deeper rims.
Dengfu (amongst others) have a 56mm deep, 27mm wide, U-shape rim built onto a half decent ******** hub. I fancy going tubular having allayed my anxieties about the gluing process and puncture repair. Tubs would be slightly lighter and less prone to the heat related failure.

The Dengfu set has Basalt brake track and come in at $430 delivered (ex any Import Duty) Thats £260. If I spend £100 on tubs and glue then I am still in less than £400. Even if they only last a couple of thousand miles then its not the end of the world.

Can you post a pic of yours? How do you find it?

Yea sure! Any requests of pics? Just the tubing and aero bits?

Its a damn good bike that's for sure, especially as I paid £1300 (i think) for it (new) and it has ultegra all around. There isn't really a weak link in the bike.

Bike is really stiff. Ive never ridden a carbon bike but this puts so much more power down over my Allez, night and day.

I need a bike fit to get the most out of it however.
