I got some track bars for my Bob Jackson a few weeks ago. These are basically drop bars with a lot more drop and curved tops, so there's no straight section at the top. I fitted them up and they looked damn cool but the bike was near unrideable!

Even with them pulled out some way they are way too low. The bottoms of the drops are about inline with the top of the tyre when all the way down which looks cool but I can't ride it like that! I'll need a bigger frame to use these so they're back off and the bullhorns back on.

You could flip the track bars upside down; that would give you a majestic, upright riding position.

Schwalbe Durano. Long lasting and good puncture protection. Grippy too.

Do they do them in 700/28?
Am looking for grippy but fast tires for hybrid for my other half.
How do I check if I could fit 25 on her wheels??

For myself, am looking on pro4 or schwalbe Ultremo- I fancy tires in colour that fits frame ;)

I hate adjusting gears, I know the principle and how to do it, but all the factors combined end up in a headache.

Went into my LBS to see if they could do it for me before the weekend, but they were too busy, I bought some tyre levers, and have to give them massive credit, the guy said he was unlikely to be able to, but took the time to show me how to check the cables for wear, and how to adjust it. Said if I was unable to sort it to bring it Saturday morning and he would try but couldn't promise anything. Really helped having someone show you and able to ask them questions rather than just reading online or watching a youtube video.

Not touched the gears since I bought my bike, was a little slow shifting into lower gears and sometimes wouldn't go into them so just a small adjustment required.

Ended up going the wrong way with the adjustment so had to start from scratch.

Shifted into the highest (smallest) gear, wound the adjustment on the rear dérailleur in then shifted down one gear, whilst pedalling wound the adjustment on the dérailleur out until it shifted and sounded like it was spinning OK.

Then repeated this step for the next gear, which didn't require any adjustment, a couple of the middle rings seemed difficult to have running cleanly.

After going up and down the gears a few times some seemed to need readjusting slightly. Have done it as best I can and will test ride it tomorrow, fingers crossed!

You cant adjust individual gears.
Set the top and bottom ones and the rest should be fine.

Sounds like she'll be right then mate! Goes up and down OK.

Shifts up and down fine, just seemed a touch noisy in a couple in the middle, but could just be slightly worn. Road test will tell compared to having it hung up in the garage. Too dark and wet to go out now.

Got to get used to being able to down shift two gears at once if I wanted to as well.

Last time when I made a hash job on my MTB (and then went and bought a book on how to do it [which is in a shipping container bound for Australia] after taking it to LBS to fix) I ended up having the chain slip when putting power down.
