Rapha large shoulder bag - cool as fup and smart enough to take to board meetings
Just had a look at this and I'm tempted now. Never bought anything from Rapha before but this looks nice!
But £145

Hmmm
They've done well there getting you to spend an extra £60 with them!
I have a clothing question...
I currently have DHB bib shorts that i put some DHB roubaix tights over, overshoes over my Shimano shoes and im quite happy with lower half cover. I then have a Gore Phantom jacket that i tend to wear over a football l/s base layer - i havent been out in december as i have the lurgi.
I got some birthday dosh so i have 100ish to spend on new spangly stuff, but if i spend £200 at CRC you get 40 off so seems to good a deal to miss
I really fancy this l/s jersey - Castelli Contatto Full Zip Jersey AW12 but im not sure where it will fit into my cycling - i assume on its own its not going to be warm enough until spring?
Then i think maybe i should just get some really decent bibs for longer rides, not sure i can justify Asos yet but what else around 50-70 is worth a look??

I've read good things about the Castelli Kiss3 pads:

Quick question about bottom brackets because some online seller has instilled doubt into my mind even though I know I'm right...
It doesn't matter what width a bottom bracket is, as long as I put it in a 68mm shell it will always be centred, i.e. both sides will poke out the frame by the same amount. I just bought a sealed one to replace the old cup and ball set in one of my bikes and the drive side crank is about 5mm closer to the frame than the non-drive side. It shouldn't be like this should it?

Anyone doing the 500k strava challenge?. I'm going to attempt it buy knowing out weather it will chuck it down with rain throughout the week lol

I think George Hincanpie is in.Anyone doing the 500k strava challenge?. I'm going to attempt it buy knowing out weather it will chuck it down with rain throughout the week lol
This is fast becoming a can of worms. I've changed a couple of cup and ball bottom brackets to the newer cartridge style and they've all been symmetrical. I'm wondering if I've just been damn lucky up to now.older cup/ball bottom brackets often had offset axles.
the axle may have a code stamped into it, thus
