Yep, I guess that makes sense :D

Id like to do something like days 2, 4 and 6. There is some really challenging hill climbing there :)
Day6 has a great climb. It's 9 miles long and pretty much constant gradient all the way up.

Sa Calobre is also a great climb. I didnt do it last year, but i'v done it before. 6 miles long at an average of 7%, probably the toughest climb on the island.

69kg seems a very low "ideal" weight then, a random calculator on the web suggests 92kg as more like it.

Oh it would be far from ideal, it's just that the BMI calculator would suggest I was a "normal weight" at anywhere between 69kg and 91kg.

I honestly think around 85kg is as low as I'd want to go give or take a bit, 90kg is the first target though as I'm going to treat myself to some shiney new wheels when I get there :)

I dont know where to go out or not, keeps drizzling...

Go on! You know you want too! Plus it makes me feel better about getting wet this morning :)

I nearly spat my coffee out. 7.1% for 6 miles! But I would love to give it a go.

I also like the thought of heading out south across the flatter areas for more of a casual ride on some days.

An "overweight" me at 94kg

Although BMI would class me as "Normal Weight" at 69kg! Screw me losing a further 24kg/4 stone!

At 6,4 your ideal weight surely isn't 69kg. That seems too low. I'm 6,4 and 80kg which, according to BMI, is almost right in the middle of normal.

e: the very lowest weight you can be to be 'normal' in BMI terms is 69kg, but you would be bordering on underweight.

at 5'9 my ideal should be 75kg, for a man if you're 180cm tall you should weight 80kg to be in the "ideal"

im really close to being overweight on bmi tho:D

We should all just fatten up to 100kg+, then go hill climbing all day erry day to get some beastly strong legs, then drop all the fat and win the TdF. :D

January was a bit of a disaster cycling for me, spent more time on an exercise bike than a real one.

Got to turn it around in February, start getting some miles in. Potentially starting with 70 on Sunday.
