Forget the diets lads it's winter; and Christmas is almost upon us, April is the time to shed weight and get screaming fit!
Hah, if i start my diet in april i might just have time to get fit before the first race of the season.....

...2013 season that is :p

What you guy's getting for Christmas? CYCLING WISE?
Garmin Edge 500 :D

I know this because i bought it myself months ago using my own wiggle account and my parents reimbured the money.

...but they still wont let me open it until xmas :(

5' 11" & 95 KG. I'm more in the Thor Hushovd mould. A slightly chubby one obviously.

Ideally, if I could drop 10 KG, but keep the power, I'd be really happy. I put out just over 1000W in a sprint, I'd love to get that a bit higher and any BF loss is going to push my PTWR higher as well.

Thank you!

It's a pleasure to ride!

I've the same bike, bought it in August. Lovely ride coming from an alu hybrid!

On the question of weight, I started in April at 101kg  Started going to the gym and set myself a target to lose 10kg and said as a reward I'd treat myself to the Cube :D
As of yesterday I was at 87.5kg, so really pleased with progress. Want to hold steady for Christmas and then really get in shape for next years season :)
Height is 172cm.

Not really, no. I import mine from South Africa (http://www.biltong2u.co.uk/), and its expensive stuff. Bulk buying usually works out ok.

Wow. I've never been able to get decent biltong in the UK. Problem solved.

BTW, todays double chocolate muffin and gingerbread star combo was better than yesterday's. I forewent the mince pie today.

Oh yeah, bailed on the Dragon.

Guys I was planning on doing it with have all dropped out.

Looks like I'm doing the Magnificat instead.

Are you still doing the KK and Wiggle No Excuses with Russ and I?

Also, fancy some training?

I'm doing the KK but not the no excuses, which is sold out now anyway.

What is this training of which you speak?

I'm busy saving brownie points to get out on the Kingston Wheelers Tuesday night training run, which is 23miles in under an hour, and my resolution for next year is to get out more with KW or at least go and do some hill repeats; I've already found the hill I want to do.

Ah. It may be time for a new bike after all. I just got a rather ridiculousl annual bonus.
