Bikes looking fantastic Kimi! The wheels suit the bike v well :)

I know what you mean about waiting for the weather to clear up to try your wheels. I purchased some zipp 101 wheels a few weeks back and haven't used them yet :(

Had my first off today, cycling/pedestrian path and i tried to go round a couple of people walking (going same direction as me and taking up most of the path) and went onto the grass verge slighty, there was a dip though between the grass and path edge which i failed to negotiate and ended up coming off on my side at 10-15mph (managed to unclip one foot but i was past 45 degrees!).
Not to bad damage wise, 1p size hole in my DHB bib tights (stitch them back up) and a small mark on the brake lever and tape. I was more concerned about my £150 Castelli jacket but that seems fine even though i have a graze on my shoulder (as well as 3-4 grazes on my knee).

C'est la vie!

Other than that it was a good flat ride out, trying to get some mileage in after the Xmas festivities!

The Planet X box was indeed a set of carbon wheels :D

Just waiting for the weather to clear up before trying them out!

Can those wheels be de-stickered Kimi?

Picked up a Moon Shield 60 Lumen Rear light today. It's insanely bright. Almost blinded myself turning it on for the first time and that's the lowest setting.

I wonder why they say you can, because Im pretty sure you could take the stickers off the wheels if you wanted to, you can definitely feel the edge of the sticker with your nail, i thought about peeling it off myself, i quite like the white/black combo with my frame tho so decided to leave them.

Ill take some pics later close up

Leave them on, they fit in perfectly with the rest of the bike.

I did my first ride in December today, a meagre 15km in the rain - i wanted to do more but had to get back to have some new tyres fitted to the car.

My god i was feeling it early on but around the time i was heading for home i felt great and wanted to go on!

I have the lezyne pump (well the steel version of)and its amaze balls, i much prefer the way it connects to the valves than the topeak, my mate has the topeak and i imagine he could get his tyre pumped up quicker as the clamp system is very quick to get on etc but he has bent a couple of valves and thats the exact thing i wanted to avoid having done that with my BBB pump!

thats what bike radar says, so difficult not to bend the valves with the lyzene, which i want to avoid (again)
