As soon as I've got round to free cycling my chest freezer I'll be wall mounting mine on individual hooks in the garage.

I was thinking that but we're renting and the landlord may not approve. I've seen those freestanding stands but the one hook models aren't suitable for carbon bikes IIRC?

ive not been out on my bike for about 5 weeks now due to my back going on that long ride I did!
then about 2 weeks ago my shoulder went, so I cant go out still :(

Does anyone know where to get cleat bolts AND washers from? you can buy the bolts easy enough but not the washers as well

If your injuries mean that more movement of your feet is more comfortable, then go for SPDs. If not, SPD-SL pedals can be more comfortable because they spread the pressure more evenly on your foot through a much bigger cleat.

I think the R077 shoes can take either style of cleat?
If you go for SPD-SL, go for the shimano 105 pedals. They are just as good as the higher models but a little heavier. I use 105 pedals on all my bikes, even my good bike with dura ace groupset.

Think you'd go for the same you'd get for a road bike. Don't think you can go too far wrong with Shimano or Look!

R077s can go for Look, SPD or SPD-SL.

I've got look and SPD cleats. Only ever used the SPD which i find really good as it's not restrictive at all and i can clip in now in pitch black in a matter of seconds! :)

Are Look ones better? Or should i stick with SPD?

Looks will be much more restrictive than SPDs. They are similar to SPD-SL. If you like the freedom of the SPDs, then stick with them or go for another MTB style system, you wont get the same range of movement with a road pedal.
