Hold the power down until it turns off, turn it back on and you should be able to save it.

Didn't work, tried the soft reset using USB but everytime it turned on it froze, have had to do a full reset to get it working clearing out all of my settings (grr) Have saved the corrupt ride, I managed to find some database thing that worked, but only half of it as you have to pay to get the second part of the ride. Very frustrating, might go and do the same ride tonight and just do what grudas said.

It says "To save activity hold reset", or words to that effect. It may be counter-intuitive, but its all there in black and white :p.

They changed it on the 510/810 when you press pause the screen changes to 2 giant buttons for save/discard which imo is a an improvement as sometimes I accidentally start a route and dont want to save it and other times I've paused it at a stop and forget to un pause it for 15+ miles after setting off.

Not sure If I'll make it to the end of the week. Feeling smashed today after 2 consecutive century's. Friend is coming round in afternoon to do a 60 mile loop taking in two cat 2 hills. Tomorrow cycling 50 miles to Swindon and Sunday is the Wiggle Wye Valley Sportive which I'm signed up for the 97 mile run but at this rate I'll burn out by tomorrow, should probably put a rest day in somewhere :(

Separately but related; views on foam rollers?

auto pause/start ftw?

motoactv works fine with that on my commute stops/pauses the time and if you manually stop it with start/stop button it will not start until you start it manually again.

IMO this is the best way to do it.

it does count total time on MOVE and total time it took me.

quite happy today with my 10miles to work commute.. normally it takes me 38-40mins today i got quite lucky with lights and managed 36ish!

i could get below 30... if only i didn't have like 30 traffic lights and massive amounts of traffic to get through.

Excellent. If it hurts, it means you need to do it!

I have/had knee problems. After some digging I found it could be related to a tight IT band. Picked up a foam roller to try and sort it out and my god it hurt! After a week of rolling the pain was much better and this coincided with my knee improving. Whether they it was related, I don't know but it is meant to have a lot of benefits.

Thanks, just reserved one at the local Argos for a tenner. I mean a foam roller is a foam roller is a foam roller.. right?

More or less, you have different density of foam tho, white is soft (but still actually hard):) then blue medium and black, rock hard! id start at blue or white. I think the argos one, well the one my friend bought has all 3 which slide inside of each other. Which did you go for?

Except when you take it of your bike whilst you go inside somewhere. The GPS can get confused start recording all sorts of movement that didn't happen etc.

and thats where the manual pause comes in :) it pauses the tracking and it never goes off :p

Shimano Dura Ace C50 wheelset arrived wednesday, managed to get them all tyred up last night, the quality of these wheels is actually quite amazing. They seems so well put together, hopefully its dry at the weekend and i get to give them a blast :D

If you still have the file, you can open it in wordpad.
It should have a header, then a series of 'trackpoints', then a footer.
This is an example of what a single trackpoint looks like from one of my rides:
Code:
<trkpt lat="55.4795640" lon="-4.0923860">
    <ele>252.6</ele>
    <time>2013-05-16T17:23:08Z</time>
    <extensions>
     <gpxtpx:TrackPointExtension>
      <gpxtpx:atemp>17</gpxtpx:atemp>
     </gpxtpx:TrackPointExtension>
    </extensions>
   </trkpt>

If you have all of the trackpoints, your ride isnt lost. It may have ended unexpectedly and not got a footer on it.
You could copy/paste a footer from another ride. All of the values are self-explanatory and it's fairly easy to work out what needs to be changed.

If you're having trouble post the file on here or email it to me (email in trust).

Gave mine their first spin yesterday. They do roll quickly, even though I was already fatigued I found I could hold 24mph on flats quite easily. Oh and did you weigh them? They seem to vary quite a bit, mine were not too far off the Manufacturers claim but some I've seen have been way off.

How much did you pay? I got mine for sub £900 with a cheeky Wiggle code :eek:

Damn! nice price! i paid £1049 from wiggle for mine, and i googled for codes:D I didn't weight them, was to eager:D i need to fit new tyres in the next couple of weeks so ill test them then.

How were they in the side winds? my planet x 50mm ones are like a kite so hoping these will be better.

If you said you were buying them I would have put the code up d'oh!

There was absolutely no gusts yesterday so no idea :p. I need to give them a few more rides and on a day when I'm well rested. But overall and after only one ride on them I would say the C24's are a better all round wheel. Certainly more comfortable, spin up quickly hold speed well. The C50's come into their own really on the flats, so if you live somewhere flat then you're golden :D
